Instead of saying saggy springs, why not say "stock springs lose tension over time / duty cycles, i have tested x number and this is what i found. i have seen y amount of improvement with stiffer springs etc etc" That is information that helps people with real data. You as an engine builder has that information so share it. Its not going to lose you anything. It sounds far better than " saggy springs" and " crisp rpm" GET IT ? Fact is i know you understand exactly what i am saying but chose to redirect the conversation elsewhere. As for Charles Beason, i never brought that up. Its not my place to do so. He asked me questions and i answered him directly based on information he provided, i do not know who is right or wrong. I did not look at the motor and i do not have direct reference so i stayed out of it because that would be the right thing to do. He quoted something you said, i told him i diasagreed. Please notice that i am not going into details in order to protect you since ALOT was said... As far as Jay is concerned, you put together a product, supposedly the best stuff out there, shipped it to him ( i assume the right way) and it still showed up scratched up. I would assume if your coatings are durable they should have withstood shipping atleast ? Didn't you send it all wrapped up and stuff ? If the coating can't take that how will it take day to day abuse ? I believe you also offered Jay some services for free then took back the offer. Not a nice or ethical thing to do. As far as your AMZ days, yes i am refering to a customer that was severly mistreated by your company who is a good friend of mine. Yes it is 8 + years ago and atleast you are agreeing you made a mistakes back then. Fair enough... If i recall, i had issue with you making claims about oil pump porting and how its "better" . It most likely is but you have NEVER it today backed it up with actual flow numbers or any quantifiable data. To me that is just sales talk and i simply called upon you to provide the details. Another issue i had with you was your about the AMS manifold deal on FB. I disagree with the fact that you make money off "fixing AMS parts". You countered by saying that the customer already had them and that you would lose money on the project. You and i both know that the AMS manifolds flow about the same as MSP and there are only minor things that need "fixing". The Difference is in how they were conceived. Personally i would rather lose money than make money of anything to do with AMS. I guess it simply has to do with our thought processes. I can't hold you morally responsible for that. As i stated its YOUR call however its amusing when you run around with a torch wanting to burn all AMS stuff on FB when infact you make money off their unethical behaviour. It simply does not compute for me. BTW don't feel so special, its not just you i pick on. If i see silly claims like the guy claiming "500 + whp on stock turbos on E85 on 300zx club" I call them on it. it is fairly obvious that the dyno was screwed with. I asked for more details which were not forthcoming (no surprise). I have questioned anyone or any claim that did not make sense. At times i have been schooled and learned from it. Keep in mind, NOONE knows everything. In fact there is a LOT we can learn even about the stuff we think we know everything about. To me the purpose of these boards is to learn and diseminate valuable information. Its not just an advertising board.I have learned a lot from this forum over the years and i am protective about it. Why do i pick on you per se ? I don't know. I Maybe i should not bother because they are many such things happening all around us and i really have no right to inflict my opinions on you.
